Coconut Water:Awesome Way to Keep Hydrated

If you are tired of drinking plain water, how about trying one of my favorite drinks . . . coconut water. Although it is a lot of fun to try it straight from the coconut, which I was able to do while visiting Grand Cayman Island a few months ago, you don’t need to be in a tropical location where coconuts grow because you can now get it at most local grocery store chains.

With the hot summer months now upon us it is even more important to ensure you are keeping yourself hydrated, and coconut water will help you with that. The brand I normally buy, Vita Coco, has many flavored versions that are tasty too.

There are many benefits to drinking Vita Coco coconut water:

  • 15 times more electrolytes than typical sports drinks
  • More potassium than 2 bananas
