10 Minute Dessert – always a hit . . . Chocolate Covered Strawberries!
Do you need a dish to take to a holiday party? This is one of the easiest desserts to make . . . I promise! Plus if you use dark chocolate you are getting extra antioxidants!
Ingredients
1 – 3.5 ounce dark chocolate bar – I used Green & Black organic dark chocolate
1 – 16 ounce container of strawberries
Note: you will need wax paper
Directions:
Wash and dry the strawberries. Melt chocolate in a small sauce pan on low heat and stir while melting – you must stir as you do not want to burn it. Once chocolate is melted remove from heat. Take a strawberry by the stem and dip in the chocolate and place on wax paper. Continue until you have all your strawberries dipped in chocolate. You can refrigerate or let them sit out till the chocolate gets hard – it does not take long.
