Aha Number 14: Loverage
I love the title of this chapter – Loverage. So often I have been hearing the word leverage. As a health coach and business owner I often read business books, take classes or watch webinars to ensure I am continuing to learn new things about business. A common theme is leverage, leverage, leverage. However, since my work is very heart-centered and emotion based I find the word loverage to be perfect!
A quote from Joey Reiman of BrightHouse really resonated with me. Joey Reiman was describing his company, BrightHouse as an “ideation company”. He said, “We do heartstorming, not brainstorming; creativity is much more about what people feel than what they think.”
The authors suggest that you list out what makes your emotions sing, using your Genius List from Aha Number 13. They state 3 important points:
- Do what you love.
- Add enormous value.
- Loverage it.
This chapter was quick and to the point and I really liked it’s message.
